NVIDIA in Record Territory

Nvidia shares climbed to a record intraday high of $243.37 on Tuesday. The chipmaker is nearing a $6 trillion market capitalization after a nearly 30% rise in 2026, cementing its status as one of the top winners of the AI spending boom.

The surge helped boost the net worth of CEO Jensen Huang, who owns an estimated 3.3% of the company, to $207 billion.

Tech investor and analyst Dan Ives said Wall Street may still be significantly underestimating NVIDIA’s growth trajectory, pointing to accelerating enterprise AI adoption and extremely tight supply-demand conditions.

Price Action: NVIDIA shares rose 0.40% in after-hours trading. The stock closed 0.14% higher at $239.24 during Tuesday’s regular trading session, according to Benzinga Pro.

Benzinga Edge Stock Rankings indicate that NVDA maintains a stronger price trend across short-, medium-, and long-term timeframes.
