Casey’s General Stores Inc (NASDAQ:CASY) posted upbeat first-quarter results, after the closing bell on Tuesday.

The company posted quarterly earnings of $7.37 per share, beating market estimates of $6.72 per share. The company’s sales came in at $5.678 billion versus expectations of $5.568 billion.

“Guests are responding well to our compelling value proposition on our high-quality prepared food, especially in whole pies. On the fuel side, our team’s robust capabilities helped us navigate a volatile environment and produced strong results,” said Darren Rebelez, chairman, president and CEO of Casey’s.

Casey’s expects inside same-store sales to increase between 2% and 5% in fiscal 2027. The company expects same-store fuel gallons sold to be approximately flat, plus or minus 1%.

Casey’s shares gained 0.7% to trade at $633.69 on Thursday.

These analysts made changes to their price targets on Casey’s General Stores following earnings announcement.

  • Keybanc analyst Bradley B. Thomas maintained the stock with an Overweight rating and lowered the price target from $970 to $780.
  • UBS analyst Mark Carden maintained the stock with a Neutral and cut the price target from $925 to $720.
