The trading activity of members of Congress continues to be a hot topic for retail investors, especially when a member is consistently selling shares of one of the largest companies in the world.

Congressman Sells Nvidia Stock Again
Rep. Daniel Meuser (R-Pa.) recently sold NVIDIA Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA) shares, as reported by the Benzinga Government Trades page.
The congressman sold $1,000 to $15,000 in Nvidia stock on Aug. 31, in a trade flagged as belonging to his spouse.
This marks one of several sales of Nvidia stock this year by the congressman.
Meuser also sold Nvidia stock in May, April, March, February and twice in January.
The only stock disclosed as newly purchased by Meuser this year was SpaceX stock, which was bought in June.
Nvidia stock traded between $216.21 and $221.30 on Aug. 31 and trades at $217.09 today, which means the congressman likely sold the shares at a higher price than the stock trades today.
Meuser’s Nvidia Stock Trading History
The congressman has sold Nvidia stock each year since 2022. This means Meuser has taken profits at different times in one of the largest companies in the world, but also potentially missing out on further gains from a stock that is up over 850% in the past five years.

Nvidia stock currently trades at $217.09, meaning that all of these trades happened with the stock trading at a lower price, leading to potentially missed profits.
Meuser has made 82 stock trades since 2019 totaling $5.1 million, according to Quiver Quantitative. Nvidia stock has not been bought by the congressman since 2019.
Past financial disclosures by Meuser show that he and his wife owned shares back in 2018. While Meuser may have missed out on profits over the years not holding Nvidia stock, there’s a strong chance that the congressman and his wife made significant profits based on owning the stock in 2018.
