Uber Technologies Inc. (NYSE:UBER) shares are trading higher on Friday as traders digest fresh post-earnings analyst commentary and the company’s push to scale its AV ecosystem.

What Analysts Are Saying About Uber’s Q2 Earnings
Analysts largely kept constructive stances after the second-quarter, but several trimmed targets: DA Davidson kept Buy and cut its target to $100 from $107, while Cantor Fitzgerald maintained Overweight and lowered its target to $90.00 from $98.00.
In the same round of notes, Needham reiterated Buy with a $109 target, and commentary centered on solid Mobility execution while investors stay focused on how Uber navigates autonomous vehicles.
Uber’s second-quarter print set up the push-pull traders are reacting to: revenue rose 12% YoY to $14.19 billion (vs. $14.24 billion expected) while adjusted EPS was 81 cents, and the quarter included more than 8 million World Cup tourists using the platform even as third-quarter earnings guidance came in below Street forecasts.
Uber is also widening the autonomy conversation beyond robotaxis, with CEO Dara Khosrowshahi calling 10-to-15-minute food delivery a “magical experience” as the company leans into drones and partners like Flytrex.
