State Street SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE:SPY) led all ETFs with $4.13 billion in net inflows, while SPDR Gold Trust (NYSE:GLD) attracted almost $637 million as total ETF net flows reached $15.3 billion. The strong demand was led by broad U.S. equity funds, with iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (NYSE:IVV) pulling in $2.71 billion and Invesco QQQ (NASDAQ:QQQ) adding $1.84 billion.

Other notable creations included State Street SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust (NYSE:DIA) at $891.3 million and State Street Industrial Select Sector SPDR ETF (NYSE:XLI) at $764.1 million, per data collected by ETF.com. Meanwhile, semiconductor ETFs faced notable redemptions, with iShares Semiconductor ETF (NASDAQ:SOXX) losing $1.16 billion and VanEck Semiconductor ETF (NASDAQ:SMH) shedding $402.9 million.

Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund ETF (NYSE:VTI) led all ETF redemptions with $2.18 billion in outflows.

QUICK CONTEXT: Broad Equity Demand Meets Gold Buying

U.S. equity ETFs accounted for the largest share of daily ETF inflows, attracting $9.29 billion. U.S. fixed-income ETFs followed with $2.76 billion, while international equity ETFs collected $971.8 million.

The flow data also showed continued demand for gold exposure, with GLD drawing $636.9 million in fresh capital. The fund ranked sixth among all ETFs for creations, behind SPY, IVV, QQQ, DIA and XLI.

At the same time, investors appeared to trim semiconductor exposure. SOXX recorded $1.16 billion in redemptions, making it the second-largest ETF on the redemption list, while SMH lost another $402.9 million.

Overall ETF net flows stood at $15.3 billion, equivalent to 0.09% of total ETF assets of $16.22 trillion.
