PayPal Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:PYPL) has expanded its AI-powered commerce footprint through a partnership with Glance, an AI-powered personal shopping platform backed by InMobi.

The agentic commerce integration brings real-time product data and native checkout functionality directly to Glance consumers in the U.S.

AI-Powered Shopping and Checkout for Consumers

Glance is embedded across more than 60 million mobile and CTV devices worldwide and provides AI-powered product discovery directly into consumers’ hands.

Glance enables users to upload a photo to generate an AI avatar, do virtual try-ons, and share them with friends.

The integration with PayPal will enable users to discover and visualize products, build a cart, and complete their purchase without being redirected to external websites.

“The lines between where people discover, shop, and buy are disappearing,” said Mike Edmonds, vice president of Agentic Commerce at PayPal.

The partnership follows PayPal’s announcement of integrating its payment infrastructure into Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META) personal AI agent, Muse in September.

Enhances Benefits for Merchants

The integration provides a simple way for retailers to extend their storefronts into Glance’s platform.

PayPal’s agentic commerce services allow merchants to connect to multiple AI-powered shopping experiences through a single integration, providing real-time product pricing and availability to consumers.

Mansi Jain, COO at Glance, said that as AI-powered discovery adoption increases, the integration will allow merchants to reach consumers easily and provide them with a native in-app checkout.
