On CNBC’s “Mad Money Lightning Round,” Jim Cramer said he would stick with Applied Aerospace & Defense, Inc. (NYSE:AADX).
Supporting Cramer’s choice, Guggenheim analyst Michael Ciarmoli initiated coverage of Applied Aerospace on Sept. 15 with a Buy rating and a price target of $30.
When asked about Ambarella, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMBA), he said, “In a rising rate environment, I’ve got to be able to show that the fundamentals are good and the stock price is good, and I don’t feel that way about Ambarella.”
On the earnings front, Ambarella reported quarterly adjusted earnings of 18 cents per share on Sept. 3, beating the Street estimate of 17 cents.
“They’re doing AI fiber at the edge, which is really good. And don’t forget they took some money from Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA),” Cramer said when asked about Nokia (NYSE:NOK). “I think that they’re actually a core component in the growth of the data center.”
Nokia, on Tuesday, agreed to sell Enterprise Campus Edge business to AURELIUS.
“A lot of these construction engineering companies had a great moment. They’ve come back down. I think they’re being oversold. I don’t know when they’re going to turn,” Cramer said when asked about Ameresco, Inc. (NYSE:AMRC).
Ameresco, on Oct. 8, announced a $42 million contract with Columbia, Missouri, for citywide water and electric meter upgrade.
Cramer said he likes BlackBerry Limited (NYSE:BB) very much. “We actually had management on. I thought they had a very good story to tell. I would not abandon that one,” he added.
Amerx analyst Casey Ryan initiated coverage of BlackBerry on Oct. 8 with a Buy rating and a price target of $13.5.
When asked about Mondelez International, Inc. (NASDAQ:MDLZ), Cramer said he is not crazy about the food stocks.
Wells Fargo analyst Chris Carey maintained an Overweight rating on Mondelez on Oct. 5 and lowered the price target from $70 to $65.
