Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) accumulated gains of about 18% over the past week as Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) chased $87,000. Technical trend reversal and renewed spot ETF inflows add another tailwind for the meme coin.
Crypto analyst Kevin Capital said Tuesday that Dogecoin cleared its daily bear-market resistance “for the first time this cycle”, signaling that the broader trend could be turning bullish.
What Happens After Resistance Break
Kevin identified $0.107-$0.118 as the next upside zone following the breakout.
Trader Tardigrade also sees Dogecoin’s bullish setup returning, pointing to a monthly bullish pennant that briefly broke down before DOGE reclaimed the pattern.
On Sep. 23, the trader characterized the move below the pennant as a false breakdown and liquidity sweep, arguing that the recovery keeps the continuation structure intact.
A sustained breakout from the pennant could strengthen the case for further upside, according to the trader.
Why Trader Eyes Retest?
Crypto trader Scient sees a potential bottom structure developing on Dogecoin’s weekly chart, with DOGE potentially forming a higher low.
On the three-day chart of DOGE/USDT, the trader highlighted a move below key support and resistance, followed by a reclaim, retest and bounce.
Scient is watching for a weekly market structure shift to confirm the setup but expects DOGE could first retrace toward the $0.08-$0.09 area to fill gaps created during the recent rally.
The trader said such a retest could provide an opportunity to build a longer-term spot position, while noting that current prices are not an attractive entry point.
DOGE ETF Inflows Return
The technical improvement comes as institutional flows into Dogecoin products pick up.
U.S. spot Dogecoin ETFs recorded $1.17 million in daily net inflows on Sept. 22, according to SoSoValue, the strongest daily inflow since monthly flows reached $2.15 million in May 2026.
That followed $909,650 in inflows on Sept. 21, after Dogecoin ETFs recorded zero net inflows for the preceding three weeks.
