Michael Burry increased his bearish bets Tuesday on several tech and semiconductor names while adding to long positions in a handful of consumer and retail stocks.
According to the Michael Burry Stock Tracker X account, his latest portfolio update shows added short exposure to:
- Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU)
- Nebius Group N.V. (NASDAQ:NBIS)
- iShares Semiconductor ETF (NASDAQ:SOXX)
- Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR)
Burry also said that he added more shares of:
- QXO (NYSE:QXO)
- Build-A-Bear Workshop (NYSE:BBW)
- Sprouts Farmers Market (NASDAQ:SFM)
- Birkenstock Holding plc (NYSE:BIRK)
- MercadoLibre Inc. (NASDAQ:MELI)
The account reported that Burry said, “I find the prices offered by the market rather attractive. All these positions are full positions for me now,” per his Substack.

Micron’s Upcoming Earnings Report
- Micron is set to report its fourth-quarter earnings on Sept. 30. In a Sunday note, analysts highlighted that the company has traded sideways since July, aligning with other memory chipmakers.
- In a Tuesday note, analysts forecast Micron’s earnings per share to surge to $31.30 from $3.03, with revenue expected to reach $50.62 billion.
- Micron has been expanding its U.S. production capabilities, building advanced memory fabrication plants in Idaho and New York, according to a Friday update.
