Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ:RKLB) shares rose in Thursday premarket trading after the company secured three additional dedicated Electron launches from Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc.

The agreement is iQPS’ third multi-launch booking with Rocket Lab in less than a year, bringing its total contracted Electron missions to 18.

Rocket Lab Expands iQPS Launch Partnership

The three launches are scheduled to begin in late 2027 from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1.

Each mission will deploy one QPS-SAR satellite into a 575-kilometer low Earth orbit, supporting the expansion of iQPS’ synthetic aperture radar Earth-imaging constellation.

The technology enables data collection in all weather conditions and at any time of day.

iQPS also purchased Rocket Lab’s Motorized Lightband satellite separation system for the missions, which is designed to streamline deployment and reduce scheduling risk.

Rocket Lab has served as iQPS’ primary launch provider since 2023, successfully deploying seven QPS-SAR satellites. The latest agreement gives iQPS additional dedicated launch capacity as it continues building its constellation.

RKLB Technical Analysis: Oversold Signals And Key Levels

RKLB remains technically weak despite the premarket gain. At $60.08, the stock trades 20.8% below its 20-day SMA, 39.4% below its 50-day SMA, and 22.6% below its 200-day SMA, keeping the broader trend bearish.

The RSI of 29.46 signals oversold conditions and raises the possibility of a short-term bounce.

However, the 20-day SMA remains below the 50-day SMA, while the stock must reclaim key moving averages before the chart shows a stronger recovery.

  • Key Resistance: $67.50 — a nearby pivot area where rebounds can stall before the stock even reaches the 20-day/200-day moving-average zone
  • Key Support: $56.00 — a nearby floor that sits close enough to matter if the oversold bounce fades
