Bloom Energy Corp (NYSE:BE) shares are jumping Tuesday. JPMorgan raised its price target on the fuel cell company by nearly 30% and extended its financial model through 2030. Here’s what you need to know.

JPMorgan Raises Price Target to $346 While Maintaining Overweight

JPMorgan analyst Mark Strouse held his Overweight rating on Bloom Energy Tuesday while pushing his price target to $346 from a prior $267, a jump of roughly 30% that leaves approximately 55% of implied upside on the table from where the stock currently sits.

The upgrade in his target coincided with a meaningful expansion of the firm’s analytical framework, which now stretches through 2030 rather than stopping at the end of next year. Looking out on that horizon, Strouse sees the company delivering 4.1 gigawatts through its product segment, a projection he views as having a credible foundation given the contracts already on the books, including a partnership with Brookfield that was recently broadened.

Even so, he acknowledged that landing additional customers and securing a wider array of commitments would go a long way toward sharpening the revenue visibility that investors typically want before fully embracing a long-duration growth story.

Near‑Term Contract Wins and Supply Chain Clarity

On the near-term front, Strouse pointed to fresh contract announcements as the most meaningful catalysts, with new customer wins carrying more weight in his view than renewals with existing partners of a similar size.

He also flagged supply chain transparency as an outstanding item, particularly around geographic sourcing of key materials following a recent short report, and said he is watching for timing updates on major projects in Wyoming with AEP and in New Mexico with Oracle.

Strouse also noted that negative headlines around data center grid connections could serve as a relative positive for Bloom given its fuel cells generate power directly at the customer site, reducing pressure on the broader utility grid.
