TriCo Bancshares, Verra Mobility, Park Aerospace And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Monday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 100 points on Monday.

Shares of TriCo Bancshares (NASDAQ:TCBK) rose sharply after the company announced it will be acquired by First Hawaiian, Inc. (NASDAQ:FHB).

First Hawaiian and TriCo Bancshares announced they have entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which First Hawaiian will acquire TriCo in an all-stock transaction.

TriCo Bancshares shares jumped 10% to $59.00 on Monday.

  • Braiin Ltd (NASDAQ:BRAI) shares jumped 24.7% to $6.88 after the company announced the release of ARIA.
  • Verra Mobility Corp (NASDAQ:VRRM) gained 13.5% to $4.68. JP Morgan analyst Tomohiko Sano upgraded Verra Mobility from Underweight to Neutral and raised the price target from $5 to $6.
  • Robo.ai Inc (NASDAQ:AIIO) rose 9.2% to $3.64.
  • Conmed Corp (NASDAQ:CNMD) gained 9% to $42.00.
  • Helen of Troy Ltd (NASDAQ:HELE) rose 7.2% to $28.23.
  • Kronos Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:KRO) gained 7% to $6.30.
  • SM Energy Co (NYSE:SM) shares jumped 6.6% to $29.60. SM Energy said it will release second quarter financial and operating results after the closing bell on Aug. 5.
  • Greenfire Resources Ltd (NYSE:GFR) gained 6.5% to $5.94 as the company announced intention to conduct rights offering.
  • Gevo Inc (NASDAQ:GEVO) surged 6.2% to $1.54.
  • Par Pacific Holdings Inc (NYSE:PARR) gained 6.1% to $69.80.
  • OIO Group (NASDAQ:OIO) rose 5.9% to $2.35.
  • Park Aerospace Corp (NYSE:PKE) gained 5.3% to $35.46. Needham analyst James Ricchiuti initiated coverage on Park Aerospace with a Buy rating and announced a price target of $43.
