Sigma Lithium Corporation (NASDAQ:SGML) shares rose on Monday. The company disclosed restarting of the restart of sales of its primary product following the remobilization of its mine operations.

This generated total net sales of around $67 million in the fourth-quarter FY25 and first-quarter FY26. This is driven by sales of about 650,000 tonnes of high-purity lithium fines and around 5,000 tonnes of high-grade premium lithium oxide concentrate.

EPS loss was 22 cents, missing the consensus of five cents. Also, sales of $16.903 million came below the street view of $45.678 million.
The company reported a net revenue decline of 64.3% year over year (Y/Y).
Sigma Lithium recorded no sales of lithium oxide concentrate in the quarter due to product unavailability, stemming from the mine’s operational pause on planned restructuring activity.
As of fourth quarter-end, cash and cash equivalents stood at $6.2 million.
Also, total debt stood at $141 million. This includes a loan of $100 million that the company expects to pay down in 2026 using the proceeds of offtake agreements and anticipated strong cashflow generation.
Notably, in 2025, the company trimmed trade finance debt by 60% and total debt by 35%.
Major Deals
The company secured two offtake agreements for high-grade premium lithium oxide concentrate.
The first involved a $96 million prepayment for 70,500 tonnes to be delivered in 2026. The second provides a $50 million prepayment for 40,000 tonnes per year over three years starting in 2026.
The company expects the first agreement to be fulfilled in 2026 with monthly disbursements of $8 million.
Outlook
SGML expects CIF China cash costs at $440/tonne in both fiscal 2026 (Phase 1 only) and fiscal 2027 (Phase 1and 2).
The company sees AISC at $592/tonne in fiscal 2026 and $511/ton in fiscal 2027.
The company expects a production volume of 240,000 tonnes in fiscal 2026 and 520,000 tons in fiscal 2027.
