With U.S. stock futures trading lower this morning on Thursday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects Commercial Metals Co. (NYSE:CMC) to report quarterly earnings at $1.33 per share on revenue of $2.09 billion quarter before the opening bell, according to data from Benzinga Pro. Commercial Metals shares rose 0.1% to $62.50 in after-hours trading.
  • Worthington Steel Inc. (NYSE:WS) reported weaker-than-expected third-quarter financial results. The company reported quarterly earnings of 27 cents per share, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of 46 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $769.800 million, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $882.950 million. Worthington Steel shares tumbled 14% to $30.10 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Designer Brands Inc. (NYSE:DBI) to post a quarterly loss of 49 cents per share on revenue of $718.91 million. The company will release earnings before the markets open. Designer Brands shares slipped 0.1% to $5.43 in the after-hours trading session.

  • MillerKnoll Inc. (NASDAQ:MLKN) reported worse-than-expected third-quarter financial results and issued weak fourth-quarter earnings guidance. Also, the company issued fourth-quarter sales guidance with its midpoint below estimates. MillerKnoll reported quarterly earnings of 43 cents per share, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of 45 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $926.600 million, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $941.960 million. MillerKnoll shares dipped 17.5% to $15.98 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect Shoe Carnival Inc. (NASDAQ:SCVL) to post quarterly earnings at 33 cents per share on revenue of $253.84 million before the opening bell. Shoe Carnival shares rose 0.2% to $17.90 in after-hours trading.
