When it comes to members of Congress, the stocks they buy or the timing of their sales are closely monitored by retail investors and several sites that track the trading activity. One member of Congress bought no new stocks in 2025, only disclosing several sales. The congressman is back in 2026 with the first disclosure being a stock he has often sold.

Congressman Discloses Nvidia Stock Sale

Congressman Daniel Meuser (R-Pa.) bought no new stocks in 2025, only disclosing several sales of several Magnificent Seven and large-cap stocks already owned, as shown by the Benzinga Government Trades page.

The congressman’s newest disclosure shows his first transactions for 2026. Meuser sold $1,000 to $15,000 in Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock on Jan. 14 and sold $1,000 to $15,000 in Nvidia stock on Jan. 30.

The two transactions are the first from Meuser since February 2025. The congressman previously disclosed multiple trades made in February 2025 in August 2025, potentially violating the STOCK Act.

According to data from Quiver Quantitative, Meuser sold $580,000 in stock in 2025 with no buys. The congressman bought $1.13 million in stock in 2024 with $1.94 million in sales during that year.

The latest trades are disclosed as being made by a spouse, which means the congressman may not have known about the selling of Nvidia shares.

A quick look at Meuser’s trading history shows multiple Nvidia stock transactions.

Meuser’s Nvidia Stock Trading History

The congressman has been selling Nvidia stock each year since 2022. This means Meuser has been taking profits different times in one of the largest companies in the world, but also potentially missing out on further gains from a stock that is up over 1,150% inv the last five years.

Here are the sales by Meuser, outside of the two recent trades, and the highest stock price for Nvidia shares on that day:

In total, Meuser has sold over $1 million in Nvidia stock over the last four years.

Nvidia stock currently trades at $187.12, meaning that all of these trades happened with the stock trading at a lower price, leading to potentially missed profits.

The congressman missed out on gains of 631.5% from the January 2022 transactions.

With no reported purchases of Nvidia stock disclosed by the congressman over the last four years, it is unknown when the shares were acquired or at what purchase price.
