Thomas joined the firm as chief administrative officer in September 2025 with more than 24 years of industry experience, Palistar said in a statement.

His role is responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting, operational and administrative matters for the firm.

“I’m thrilled to take on an expanded role at Palistar and appreciate the trust Omar [Jaffrey] and the team have placed in me. The firm has a strong foundation in digital infrastructure investing and a clear strategic vision, and I look forward to helping drive operational excellence and long-term value creation,” Thomas said.

Prior to joining Palistar, Thomas worked at Dvora, an experiential real estate developer as CFO, and at Greenspot, an EV infrastructure firm.

Thomas also spent 12 years as managing director and deputy COO, real estate and private equity at Angelo Gordon. He began his career at Ernst & Young, where he worked for 10 years in its M&A advisory and audit assurance practices.

Omar Jaffrey, founder and managing partner of Palistar, commented: “His immediate impact across the organization, combined with more than two decades of experience in finance, operations and scale-building, provided a natural opportunity for us to broaden his responsibilities in support of the firm’s continued growth and investment strategy.”

Palistar Capital is an alternative asset manager focused on private equity and structured investments. The New York-based firm has approximately $3.1 billion in assets under management.
