XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) is seeing accelerating network adoption but prices remain stuck around the $1.25 mark.

Blockchain analytics platform Santiment Intelligence reported Tuesday that 7,934 new XRP wallets were created on Nov. 1, marking the sixth-highest daily total of 2026.

The surge was particularly notable because Sunday’s typically see weaker blockchain activity.

The recent Binance hack may have encouraged investors to shift toward self-custody, contributing to increased wallet creation.

The divergence between rising network activity and stagnant prices suggests adoption is improving despite bearish market sentiment.

Santiment flagged $1.25 as XRP’s key pivot, with a move above $1.30 signaling stronger bullish momentum.

On the other hand, a drop below $1.20 alongside daily wallet growth falling under 3,000 could indicate weakening adoption.

Ripple’s Institutional Push Boosts XRP Outlook

Crypto YouTube commentator Nico Cabrera highlighted growing criticism of Ripple following its Swell conference, arguing that investors are overlooking the company’s institutional adoption strategy.

The commentator pointed to Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s repeated assurances that XRP remains central to the company’s long-term vision.

Garlinghouse explained that stablecoins serve as an entry point for institutional clients, potentially creating opportunities to integrate XRP into payment infrastructure over time.

Ripple’s strategy prioritizes institutional onboarding before broader XRP integration, rather than announcements designed to drive short-term price gains.

Garlinghouse also outlined the potential to bring a portion of Ripple’s existing institutional payment flows on chain, with 2027 emerging as a key milestone.
