Ondas Inc. (NASDAQ:ONDS) is expanding its autonomous defense and security business through rising orders, acquisitions and broader customer adoption, while analysts point to the company’s exposure to several growing defense markets.

The company designs, develops, manufactures, sells and supports FullMAX software-defined radio (SDR) technology across the U.S., Israel and India. It operates through two segments — Ondas Networks and Ondas Autonomous Systems — giving it exposure to both communications infrastructure and autonomous systems use cases.

The stock slid almost 30% in 2026 due to widening financial losses and shareholder dilution from acquisitions, despite strong top-line revenue growth.

Orders Top $270 Million

On Wednesday, Ondas announced that it had secured more than $165 million in orders from the second half of August through Oct. 1. Combined with roughly $105 million announced earlier in the third quarter, orders since June 30 exceeded $270 million.

The company said the new business expanded its backlog and strengthened revenue visibility into 2027.

Orders came from multiple regions and product categories, reflecting demand across Ondas’ autonomous defense and security portfolio.

$56 Million European Order Expands Precision Strike Business

Ondas also secured a $56 million European defense order for Electronic Safe & Arm Devices tied to a loitering munition program this week.

The contract marks Ondas’ first major defense order since acquiring GATE Technologies and Bron Technologies and expands its Precision Strike business.

The company is also pursuing additional opportunities across NATO and allied defense markets.

Ondas separately reported progress with ULTRA, a candidate for a U.S. Department of Defense program of record, and its IonStrike “Shahed Killer.”

“Importantly, both ULTRA and IonStrike have captured strategically significant orders and are advancing through key customer validation milestones, which we believe can open substantially larger markets,” CEO Eric Brock said.

Citizens Turns Bullish On Ondas

On Oct. 5, Citizens initiated coverage of Ondas with an Outperform rating, describing the company as a diversified autonomous-systems platform positioned for growth.

The firm said Ondas participates in four high-growth submarkets within the broader autonomous-systems industry.

Ondas Targets a Broader Defense Opportunity

Ondas is expanding its manufacturing capacity, engineering capabilities and customer relationships as it targets more areas of autonomous defense.

The company sees opportunities across counter-drone systems, loitering munitions, surveillance, ground robotics, electronic warfare, AI-enabled command systems and infrastructure monitoring.

Ondas believes rising global defense spending and wider adoption of autonomous technologies are creating a multi-billion-dollar opportunity across defense, security and industrial markets.
