Apple is scheduled to release earnings results for the latest quarter after the closing bell Thursday. Wall Street expects the iPhone maker to post quarterly earnings of $1.89 per share on revenue of $108.65 billion.

The company reported quarterly sales of $11.226 billion, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $11.183 billion.
