Fluence Energy Inc. (NASDAQ:FLNC) surged over 51% on Monday following a joint announcement from Siemens AG (OTC:SMAWF) regarding a high-profile partnership with NVIDIA Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA) to develop specialized AI data center infrastructure.

The NVIDIA Vera Rubin Reference Design

According to Siemens, the companies developed an NVIDIA DSX Vera Rubin-aligned reference design.

The architecture translates NVIDIA’s AI factory vision into a deployable, industrialized electrical, power, and controls solution targeted at hyperscalers and specialized cloud infrastructure providers.

The system is sized at a total facility capacity of 136 MW with an IT load of 100 MW.

Fluence Smartstack Provides Grid Resilience

As part of the blueprint, Fluence’s battery energy storage delivers the necessary flexibility and resilience for power-constrained environments.

“Our Smartstack platform is central to this new architecture, transforming the grid into an accelerator for compute,” stated Jeff Monday, Fluence Chief Growth Officer. “By providing essential capabilities like voltage and frequency ride through, black start, grid demand response, and AI load smoothing, we are enabling our customers to build the AI factories of the future, faster and more reliably.”

Addressing Extreme Thermal Management

The design incorporates electrical parameters aligned with nVent Electric plc (NYSE:NVT) to ensure compatibility with heavy NVIDIA workloads.

“Platforms like NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 are pushing rack densities well beyond what traditional air-cooled infrastructure can support,” noted Sara Zawoyski, President of nVent Systems Protection, highlighting the necessity of deployable thermal solutions.

Technical Analysis

FLNC is trading well above its major trend gauges, sitting 45.9% above the 20-day SMA ($19.25) and 66.5% above the 200-day SMA ($16.87), which underscores how aggressive this upswing has become.

That said, the longer-term trend picture still carries some baggage because the 50-day SMA remains below the 200-day SMA (a death cross that formed in April), even as the 20-day SMA is above the 50-day SMA (a bullish near-term alignment).

RSI is the cleaner momentum read right now, and at 51.18, it’s neutral.

FLNC Price Action: Fluence Energy shares were up 50.79% at $28.47 at the time of publication on Monday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
