CNBC’s Jim Cramer said the AI and data center boom continues to create major winners across chips, cloud computing, and supporting infrastructure as demand spreads through the broader economy.
Chipmakers Lead The AI Buildout
Cramer said semiconductor companies remain central to the AI boom because data centers require massive computing power.
He highlighted NVIDIA Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA) as a leading beneficiary, while also pointing to Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) and Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC) as key rivals benefiting from rising AI demand, CNBC reported on Monday.
Cramer added that memory and storage companies such as Western Digital Corp. (NASDAQ:WDC) and Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) stand to gain as AI workloads increase data storage needs, while ASML Holding NV (NASDAQ:ASML) and Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMAT) benefit from demand for chipmaking equipment.
Cloud Giants Benefit From AI Adoption
Cramer said the rapid adoption of AI models is driving growth for cloud computing leaders, including Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) Azure, and Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Google Cloud.
He argued that increasing AI usage across businesses and consumers continues to boost demand for cloud infrastructure and computing services.
AI Infrastructure Expands Beyond Tech
Cramer also identified infrastructure and networking companies tied to AI expansion as major winners.
He pointed to Dell Technologies Inc. (NYSE:DELL) for servers, Vertiv Holdings, LLC (NYSE:VRT) for cooling systems, Eaton Corporation, PLC (NYSE:ETN) for electrical equipment, Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) and Arista Networks, Inc. (NYSE:ANET) for networking, and Corning Inc. (NYSE:GLW) for fiber optic cables.
Data centers require massive amounts of electricity, driving demand for power and infrastructure companies, Cramer said. He highlighted Vistra Corp. (NYSE:VST), GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE:GEV), and Constellation Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:CEG) as key beneficiaries of rising AI-related energy demand. Cramer also pointed to backup power providers Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT) and Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI), which help ensure uninterrupted operations at data centers.
He said the AI boom has evolved into a broad economic shift, with companies across industries benefiting from what he described as an “explosion of profits” tied to AI and data centers.
