On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Stephen Weiss, chief investment officer and managing partner of Short Hills Capital Partners, picked Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) ahead of quarterly earnings.

Netflix is scheduled to report first-quarter financial results on Thursday after the market close. Analysts expect Netflix to report first-quarter revenue of $12.17 billion, up from $10.54 billion in last year’s first quarter, according to data from Benzinga Pro. Analysts expect Netflix to report first-quarter earnings of 76 cents per share, up from 66 cents per share year-over-year.

Joseph M. Terranova, senior managing director for Virtus Investment Partners, named Zoom Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZM) as his final trade.

As per the recent news, Zoom announced the appointment of Russell Dicker as chief product officer on Wednesday. Dicker previously served as corporate vice president at Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT). He led product and data science for Microsoft Teams. He also held leadership roles at Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) and Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG).

Apollo is scheduled to release financial results for the first quarter on Wednesday, May 6, before the opening bell.
