Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, the Georgia Republican who resigned from Congress earlier this year, lashed out Wednesday at Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), commentator Mark Levin, activist Laura Loomer and other Republicans, accusing them of steering the GOP toward electoral trouble ahead of the midterms.

Greene Blames GOP Figures For Losses

In a post on X, Greene wrote that “Trump and the GOP betrayed their voters” and added, “Loomer, Levin, and Lady Lindsey are the BEST political consultants the Democrat Party could ever imagine!!!”

Greene’s outburst came a day after Democrats scored a notable special-election win in Florida, where Emily Gregory flipped a Republican-held state House seat that includes President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. The Associated Press reported that Gregory defeated Trump-endorsed Jon Maples in a district Trump had carried by 11 points, while Axios said the result added to a broader pattern of Democratic overperformance in state legislative races since Trump returned to office.

Greene’s post included a screenshot claiming Democrats had flipped 12 state legislative seats in 2025 and 2026, though a fact-check on that figure by Newsweek on Wednesday put the number substantially higher.

Trump Rift And Iran Feud Resurface

Greene also revived grievances from her split with Trump. She said that after Trump called her a “traitor,” she stopped fighting for “Trump and the Republican Party that defends the Epstein class, wages pointless foreign wars, and pursues America LAST.”

Since leaving office, Greene has become one of the loudest Republican critics of Trump’s Iran policy. She publicly backed Megyn Kelly in her clash with Levin over Israel and the Iran war, a split that has exposed deeper MAGA tensions over foreign policy.

Earlier this month, Greene warned on CNN’s “The Situation Room” that prolonging the war would hurt Vice President JD Vance, saying, “The longer it goes on, it definitely does hurt JD Vance,” and she has also argued it could politically damage Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

Georgia Runoff Keeps Spotlight On District

Meanwhile, politics in Greene’s old district remain unsettled. Democrat Shawn Harris and Republican Clay Fuller, Trump’s endorsed candidate, advanced to an April 7 runoff, earlier this month to replace Greene in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.
