United States Antimony Corporation (AMEX:UAMY) shares are trading higher Tuesday, possibly tied to a newly announced joint venture and a FOX feature involving its CEO. The stock has also recently climbed alongside broader strength in critical and precious metals.

New Joint Venture Announced

The company announced it has entered into a new joint venture with Americas Gold and Silver Corporation to construct a state-of-the-art hydromet processing facility in Idaho. The facility will be built on land adjacent to Americas’ active silver, copper, and antimony mining operations.

Under the agreement, the joint venture will be owned 51% by Americas and 49% by United States Antimony, with United States Antimony serving as the managing member. Major decisions will be made by a committee with equal representation from both companies.

The hydromet facility is designed to process copper, silver, and antimony and is expected to improve recoveries while reducing processing costs. United States Antimony said the project will be the first commercial-scale hydromet processing center of its kind in North America and that it holds an exclusive license for the technology.

Americas has already secured key environmental and operational permits for the Idaho site, with only construction permits remaining. United States Antimony said this allows construction planning to move forward immediately.

United States Antimony Chairman and CEO Gary C. Evans said the partnership brings together aligned management teams focused on advancing U.S.-based critical mineral production and could position the project for potential government funding.

Americas Gold and Silver CEO Paul A. Huet said the joint venture is expected to unlock additional value by allowing Americas to capture downstream profits from antimony processing, in addition to receiving market-based payments for antimony mined at its Galena Complex.

Americas reported producing 561,000 pounds of antimony contained in concentrate from the Galena Complex in 2025 and said the new facility will support increased production as it ramps mining of higher-grade ore.
