U.S. stock futures were slightly higher this morning, with the Dow futures gaining around 0.1% on Tuesday.
Shares of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co (NASDAQ:GT) fell sharply in pre-market trading after the company reported mixed fourth-quarter financial results.
Goodyear Tire reported quarterly earnings of 39 cents per share, which missed the consensus estimate of 47 cents by 17.89%, according to data from Benzinga Pro. Quarterly revenue came in at $4.92 billion, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $4.84 billion and was down from $4.95 billion from the same period last year. Tire unit volumes totaled 42.3 million for the quarter.
Goodyear Tire & Rubber shares dipped 8% to $9.68 in pre-market trading.
