The private wealth series is a fully private, actively managed investment solution that has the potential to deliver access, capture illiquidity premiums and deliver uncorrelated returns relative to the public markets, said the announcement on Thursday.

“The evolution of fund structures, digital platforms, and reporting has opened the door for advisors to thoughtfully integrate alternatives into client portfolios in a far more practical way,” said Gradient Investments Portfolio Manager Kyle Bergacker.

The series offers two portfolio models: Horizon, which is designed for growth-oriented investors and Income Edge, which is designed for income-focused investors.

Horizon, emphasizes private equity exposure to sectors such as technology, industrials and health care, with allocations to private infrastructure, private credit and select private real estate.

Income Edge focuses on private real estate and private credit strategies and targets cash flow through income-producing properties and senior secured, floating-rate lending structures.

Both models are designed for investors with mid- to long-term horizons.

Bergacker noted, “Alternatives are most effective when they’re treated as a strategic allocation, not a short-term trade.”

The series combines institutional-quality private assets with 1099 tax reporting, reducing the administrative complexity that can be associated with alternatives.
